Ok well here is my fave of little Miss Elle in her Halloween getup! Looking back at the different Halloween pictures I have decided to do a looking back Halloween post. I just love this time of the year!!! Thanks for the fun contest Sarah! Click here if you want to enter:)
I had a fabulous and much needed girls night out with some of my fantastic new friends here! We went to Scottsdale for dinner and to try the renown Sprinkles cupcakes! DELISH! Had a blast!
Ok this was kind of a gift to myself. I don't feel quite as white trash anymore now that our TV is off the floor and our 7 month old is not chewing on all the exposed wires! I got to pick out the finishes for it and I am so happy with how it turned out!
Thought I would post a couple of cute pics of the girls! Elle will only take a picture if she can pose these days and Laney is loving her sandbox! We are still enjoying some incredible heat here in AZ, it is weird for me to think the rest of the country in into fall when it was 107 degrees yesterday!
Here is what Laney has been up to lately, being tormented by her big sister-no not really! I was feeding Laney and went to answer the door and when I came back we found Elle "painting" Laney. Elle said she was giving her a mustache:) Luckily Laney loves
bath time!
Anxiously awaiting her bath
Grandma Stacey also known as my mom came to visit us for about a week and we all had so much fun with her! A week was definitely not long enough, we wish could see more of her! She taught Laney all kinds of new tricks. I took a video of one of them. We will all be excited to see her for Thanksgiving! Oh and she left the AZ heat (still around 100+degrees) on Monday, arriving in Denver at 39 degrees and snowing! NUTS I tell you!
Here is our sad little Accord after the accident. It looks bad, but not as bad as I felt about the whole thing! We have ordered a new car and hope it is on its way to us shortly. I am sad to see the Accord go out like this, it was a great car especially considering it had 213,000 miles on it and had never had any major problems! Elle and I are doing great, she is a trooper and I am just nervous and anxious to drive! We feel very lucky and blessed, knowing this could have ended much differently! Thanks for everyones concern and help this last week!
Hello amazing! My friend Taylor is so rad, this cake was so perfect and the hit of the party. Jeff loved it and was so impressed! I can not tell you how much I love her! Thanks Taylor you are the best!

We are so excited to have such an adorable backyard! I cant wait for the grass to grow in so I can throw a pool out there and let my kids go crazy! Elle has already had fun riding her bike along the path today. Hooray for backyards! We are off to by sand for the sandbox!
So here we are in Arizona. We have been here for a little over a month now and I think everyone in my family is loving it. We are for sure missing many of our friends and family, but are so excited to be moving forward with life. It is crazy how much time and energy moving takes. So I know there has been a serious lack of posts these days, but I really dont have a lot of new things to share.
Jeff is loving "preschool!" He is doing a fantastic job so far! He has a test every Monday, which makes for a not so fun weekend! He is making friends at school and is very popular-haha just kidding. He is truly enjoying it so far and knows this is what he is supposed to be doing!
Miss Elle is still living in her world of pretend. It is dress up time from sun up to sun down. We thought we had left her imaginary friend, Morton, in Colorado but apparently he followed us:) She is making lots of new friends and seems to be adjusting really well. She is starting pre school in a couple of weeks and is so excited!
Laney is crawling officially. Her and Elle are having lots of fun together now that she is more mobile. She thinks Elle is like the funniest thing ever. She is also teething right now and having a REALLY hard time. Poor thing!
As for me, I am still working on getting organized. I am really liking it here too, although I miss my family and friends so much sometimes! I am loving our house and all of the space! Our ward has been really welcoming, oh and Jeff and I are now CTR 5A teachers. Did I mention that there are 4 nurseries and 3 of every other primary class. NUTS! The kids way out number the adults in the ward! Well that is about it. Hopefully now that I am feeling more settled I will be back with lots more posts soon! I have not even finished June yet! So yes stay tuned for some house pictures and our fun vacation to CA.
Elle and Laney got their cute little ears pierced. Despite a few tears that subsided in about 30 seconds it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. They both look so cute with their little earrings! I am hoping this will help avoid any confusion as to my sweet babies gender!

Laney LOVES Yoga, here she is in downward dog, her pose of choice
Elle's little friend we found in the laundry room...argh
Here are a few pictures of the back of the house, before they really got started this morning. I feel so bad these guys worked all day long in 110 degree weather-INSANE! I am excited with the progress of the first day!
Looking to your left
and right.
10 am update
Done for the the day at 4. Transplanted one palm, drilled up concrete on side of house, put in drains, built wall, dug up ugly bushes, fixed tree in front pulled up pavers and flagstones.
Jeff and I met in 2000 and have been together ever since. We have two beautiful girls, Elle Alexandra (3) and Laney Grace (3mo). They are the loves of our lives! We are currently living in the great state of Colorado, and are preparing ourselves for a big move to Arizona in July. We are so excited for this change and everything that is coming with it!
